This workshop will cover an introduction to SBIR funding and available opportunities. You will learn about the eligibility requirements, differences between participating agencies, how the funding is structured, and how to find the most appropriate grant option for your R&D goals.

Speakers: Sandra Hryniewicz is the Head of Innovation Management at Inspiralia USA. She is an expert on non-dilutive funding strategy and creating growth opportunities for deep-tech start-ups.

Dr. Diane Hickey is a seasoned entrepreneur and an expert in commercializing innovations. Diane’s passion for helping others chase their dreams led her to create the Diamond Chameleon Group (DCG). With her Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering, Diane spent two years at the National Science Foundation (NSF) as a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Director, launching the Artificial & Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and Learning & Cognitive Technologies topics. Diane is also a serial entrepreneur who understands the challenges that startup-founders, investors and entrepreneurial support organizations face as we strive to build dynamic communities that foster innovations to empower our world.
